If Cotto fights Canelo or Mayweather on Dec 1st who cares about a Pacman fight. He clearly beat bradley and Marquez vs Pac 4 is not that big of a fight anymore.

If they are going up against Cotto it better be Pac/Marquez IV because if Golden Boy puts Cotto in there with Canelo, Pac/Bradley would flop. Truth be told IDK if Cotto/Canelo woudn't outsell it in buys to be honest with you. Canelo is more popular than Marquez, especially for a fourth time with Manny. It's Arum though anything is possible.

Agree, that crap of a fight should be free anyways.. No one has heard of Josesito Lopez until the Ortiz fight.. Not taking anything away from Lopez, but really Alvarez fights at 154, Lopez has 1 fight at 147 against a known quitter..

I like Alvarez but Golden Girl is feeding him has beens and fighters who arent a threat.. They should be lining up Alvarez against other better 154lb fighters.

Golden Boy is feeding Alverez the same has beens that Pac and Floyd fought.

Agreed. Canelo vs Junito does good business in either NY or LA (and PPV). And if Pacquiao doesn't face anybody who is worthy, the Alvarez vs Cotto card will take away a significant chunk of sales from the Pacquiao fight! The Latino market is one of the major markets keeping this sport alive, and for the most part, the Latinos will definitely choose an Alvarez vs Cotto fight!!! Unless, ofcourse, Pacquiao fights Mayweather or Marquez.

They tried. Pwill, Kirkland, & Ortiz plans went up in smoke remember? That's still no excuse for not fighting other 154 guys like Trout or Lara but I digress.

Pac vs Cotto 2 is on. For Arum, Miguel is still fresh in peoples minds as the guy who pushed Mayweather harder than anyone in recent years and maybe in his mind he feels Manny can upstage Floyd's victory over a common opponent. I see a 150-152 lb catchweight and a hydration clause. It's fine since Cotto is a small tank @ superwelter. If this happens in NY Manny stands a real chance at losing. At MSG I see a potential SD win for Pacquiao. After the Bradley fiasco, all bets are off.
