Originally posted by rslROFL did you just say "greatest boxing race"? Are we forgetting the likes of Hagler who beat Duran, Leonard who made Duran quit after 2 f**king rounds(LMAO), Whitaker who made Chavez look like a bum, I mean I can go on and on.... Lets stop the bleeding now shall we. The one thing I love about Hispanicant's is their fighting spirit, what I mean is they keep getting their @sses kick, but they come back for somemore of the same @ss kickin'. I mean this is true if you look back in history... For example the people that use to own this land, hell now they're coming back in droves just to be abused some more. I don't know if you wanna call it heart or just pure ******ity?!
By the way we know that you are aps214!

Watch a tape of Duran fighting in the mid 70's and you'll know why almost all of boxing historians place him somewhere in their top five. Not too many fighters who started as a junior lightweight actually fought for a middle weight title (and go the distance with one of the great middleweight champions ever). Their will never be another warrior like him.
I was fortunate enough to witness firsthand how even at the end of his career He showed flashes of brillance and technique that many of today best fighters simply do not possess.
