Between PR, and Mexico, I just picked the top three.
I'm sorry to say, but Gomez, isnt better than the top three on my Puerto Rican list in my sig.

Lol, I was kinda surprised a Puerto Rican with that list.

LOL Didn't you notice that all of them were Mexicans? We were talking about ranking Zarate and Pintor among MAB, and Morales right? I think that the fight between Pacman and Gomez would be entertaining, but IMO there is no way that anyone can justify why Pacman would beat Gomez.

Then you might want to rewatch some of those fights you claim to have seen from the 122 pound Gomez, because I cannot see a definate advantage for Pacquiao in any category.

Their hand speed is just about even, both fought with all their hearts, and if there was an advantage in power I'd give it to Gomez, which are the primary attributes of Pacquiao's...And I don't know what fights of Gomez' you saw at 122, but it is VERY clear to me that he was the much better overall boxing talent, as Pacquiao can't match Gomez' quick & evasive footwork, upperbody reflexes (Gomez blows him away as far as defensive skills go, from what I've seen), counter punching ability, versatility of attack (outside & inside, body & head), etc., etc.

Besides a proverbial puncher's chance, which both fighters share equally with each other, I'm really having a hard time seeing how you could "favor Pac period", because Gomez' overall boxing skills are simply on another level above Pacquiao's.

Well, Pacquiao does deserve tremendous praise after his performance on Saturday night, so that's somewhat understandable because it happens every time a popular/well known fighter wins a big fight...His fans (which I undoubtably count myself as one of them) just have to keep it real, that's all.

                And thanks.

                  Speed Pac wins.

                  Power is a toss up.

                  Chin Pac wins.

Sanchez & Nilson both knocked out Gomez, both of those guys didn't hit as hard as Pac. It all comes down to chin & Pac has the better chin.

                    Oh, is that so?

Well, Sanchez and Nelson did stop Gomez after both dished out extended punishment, but there's JUST a little bit of difference in being stopped by a couple of HOF'ers (and once when Gomez was obviously well past his best) when compared to Pacquiao being dropped and noticably hurt by a friggin jab from Nedal Hussein in the 4th round of that 122 pound fight.

hahahahahahah one of the funniest posts i have ever seen. LOL

speed pac wins? power toss up?

are we talking about the same Gomez?

Gomez is in boxing history for his P4p punching power. 44 wins with 42 KOs. Pacman lost by KO to two nonames. at least Gomez's losses are to top caliber opponents. Sal Sanchez is also in the top of the 126 rankings as one of the best.

I really doubt that you have seen any of Gomez's fights by the way that you are talking about him.
