Yep, that was the worst Floyd has looked since the dlh fight. Maybe it has something to do with the added weight, I don't know. However, Floyd still clearly won on an off night.

I would like to see Ward against some more styles. But he's really good, top 3. Better than Donaire and Pacquiao for sure.

I'd like to see how he does against Dawson, and then I want to see him against Dirrell.

I favored him to win against Kessler, Bika, Green, Abraham, and Froch, easily. He just had the better style, though Bika gave him a tough fight.

I don't have the same "He's going to have an easy night" feeling with the Dawson fight. He's gonna have to show his best performance in this fight.

The thread title asks who are the best fighters and then you talk about boxing ability. What I think you mean by boxing ability (ring generalship & defense) is just one aspect of the sport, it's not the be-all and end-all. For example, Ward is a better technician than Dirrell but Dirrell is faster and more explosive and I think a fight between them would be pretty much a toss up. Fighting ability encompasses more than just boxing skills.

Step up in competition? Lmao, Cotto isn't all that. Floyd is older and no longer in his prime, he isn't always gonna dominate. You sound like a hater. You say Cotto was damaged goods yet it was a step up in competition? Huh

You guys make this more complicated than it is. I'm referring to general boxing ability. To me, Floyd and Andre are the most complete fighters in the game. Offense, defense, ring intelligence, etc. They display all of these attributes very well.

How did you score the Cotto fight and who is the world's best fighter in your opinion?

Wow, this is the same guy who arguably lost to a 38 year old blown up light weight who Floyd shut out two years prior, he looked terrible against a horribly shot Shane Mosley and he wasn't exactly dazzling against Bradley. I don't see how anybody can still put Manny @ # 1. Honestly that's laughable.
