False, some people are seriously overrating Ward. Ward didn't even want to fight his buddy Andre Dirrell. He's never fought a really solid boxer, he beat a lot of tough guy's who have flaws in their boxing ability. He's impressive, but to say that Ward is the next Maywather is stretching it.

I don't even think he beats Dawson.

Being more complete than someone doesn't necessarily make you a better fighter. I agree that they are currently the two best fighters P4P based on ability alone but not because they're more complete than the rest, they're just better fighters.

I don't see how anybody can still put Manny @ # 1. Honestly that's laughable.
laughable is you comparing pac vs marquez fights to floyd vs jmm fight....floyd was huge compared to jmm and was literally a ww vs lw fight..

but if you wanna know something , out of 5 common opponets between pac and floyd , pac did better 4 times

Ward is one of the best but I wouldn't call him the best, not even number 2. Let's see how he performs against Dawson. To me, Ward looks very beatable. I think an intelligent pressure fighter could cause a lot of problems for Ward. I would place Pac and Sergio above Ward to be honest. However he is certainly one of the top five if not top ten best fighters in the world.

Yup and boxing fans think he's comparable to a prime Mayweather, a prime Jones Jr, or even a prime Hopkins. He's clearly not on that level, not from what I've seen.

Make no mistake about it Ward is a really solid boxer, if he beats Dawson, I would compare him to Hopkins and Mayweather. We'll see how he handles Dawson first.

I don't think you can go wrong with Floyd and Ward though.
it's just one person's opinion (or at the time of this posting, 29 people's opinion)

yeah and out of 5 common opponents

hatton, mosley, cotto, marquez, de la hoya

floyd fought all 5 without draining them below their natural weight limit
floyd fought 3 of them first

when did "how" you beat an opponent make a damn bit of a difference in this sport when comparing fighters, you can't make that statement and ignore styles. unless you're an idiot, of course

I think Saturday's performance by Ward against Dawson further proved my point.
