True or False Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Andre Ward are the world's 2 best fighters?

I would like to see Ward against some more styles. But he's really good, top 3. Better than Donaire and Pacquiao for sure.
I'd like to see how he does against Dawson, and then I want to see him against Dirrell.
I favored him to win against Kessler, Bika, Green, Abraham, and Froch, easily. He just had the better style, though Bika gave him a tough fight.
I don't have the same "He's going to have an easy night" feeling with the Dawson fight. He's gonna have to show his best performance in this fight.

ward's got a good case tho

What I think you mean by boxing ability (ring generalship & defense) is just one aspect of the sport, it's not the be-all and end-all. For example, Ward is a better technician than Dirrell but Dirrell is faster and more explosive and I think a fight between them would be pretty much a toss up. Fighting ability encompasses more than just boxing skills.Last edited by $tate of Mind; 08-20-2012, 01:11 AM.
