I`m glad this card`s not on HBO cause the HBO commentators would have probably hated on Gamboa and Dirrel just cause Floyd promotes them.

Not just cause Floyd promotes them but cause he also "ruined" their event vs Rios which was supposed to be on HBO.

Showtime seems to be the home for the Cubans now. Gamboa, Lara and Rigo. I like Showtime but recently they been annoying showing events on same date as HBO. GBP must be paying them some mean cash to do that. They must be trying to screw with HBO since the whole thing with Canelo went down.

Some of the fanboys on here thought that Brian Magee would be a good fight for Kessler to take next.

So if that's the case then for sure it's a good fight for Dirrell to take next, especially after being inactive for so long.

Magee has some pull in Denmark as he has beaten Larsen and Markussen over there but really it would be a keep-busy fight for Kessler.

It's not the worst fight for Dirrell, but having already come back and beat Cunningham in a tune-up it's difficult to see the point in it.

Magee has never been stopped early so if Dirrell does it he could make a statement.

i dont think dre is that type of fighter, but we'll see. ill be content if he puts on a master class boxing performance honestly. something that lets the division know hes back if not at the top.

Dirrell mission is to try and stop Magee faster then Froch and Bute did I guess

as for Gamboa, Salgado is a very solid opponent, I thought he fought Uchiyama very tough in Japan before getting stopped

What would stopping a guy Froch stopped way back in 2006 when he was still fighting domestic level opponents mean?
