That will be very intriguing. If Roger can get him to move his head and tighten up his defense...wow. Scary thought.

There's the language barrier to deal with though. And what if the Cuban style is too ingrained in Yuriorkis and he doesn't take well to the changes the Mayweathers might want him to make?

Maybe. Maybe not. I think Gamboa's english has gotten better tho, think about it. How does he communicate with Floyd and 50 and all those guys? He's probably always hanging out with these guys. Roger's speech is kinda jacked up so he might have a harder time understanding him.

As far as his style, I think Gamboa is a learning guy and opened to new things. Back when he started he was waaaayyy wild which lead to all those KD's. As he moved up in the ranks he was a little more poised, still would get wild from time to time, but he has settled down a bit more. Maybe Im just HOPING he does but I think he might learn a few good things from Roger. Hopefully we will get an idea his first fight when he comes out.

nice to see Gamboa getting back in the ring and that is a strong opponent. Dirrell is going to whoop on Magee

              Here's my dream......

Gamboa fights Salgado in November and Broner fights someone like Beltran/Rees in October.

Gamboa fights Mendez in January and Broner fights Burns/Mitchell in February.

Gamboa fights Vazquez (assuming he beats Gesta in November) in May/June and Broner fights DeMarco/Molina in June/July.

Gamboa and Broner fight in a huge LW title fight in November of 2013.

There is money in Japan, boxing is big over there, why do you think Montiel fought there? Why do you think Linares and Valero fought there most of their career?

Japanese fighters are very tricky for American fighters. that's why the only time u see it done is when they come here, which is also pretty rare. u might get a few second rate fighters but their biggest fighters are rarely seen. this will be nishiokas first time on American TV and he's been the best fighter in japan for probably the last 5 years.
HBO has broadcasted fights live from Japan before.

Nishioka's last fight was on american TV.

                    Good start? How so?

So far they are just putting rumours and intentions into circulation. Let's see some contracts and then judge.

I know Boxrec is not the most reliable source but they already got the fight listed.
