Bernard Hopkins rate him

I would give Hopkins a 7 maybe an 8 if he wins his next few fights.

8, he is very smart in the ring. Not the best MW ever but very good. i hope everyone who rates him, gives him lower then they gave RJJ, who completly outboxed him.

Hopkins is a fighter I would give a 7. This is a guy who really was lucky. He never had anything special, and in his 2 biggest victories, knocked out a pair of welterweights. In his biggest test, he failed against Roy Jones Jr. He is not in the class of Roy Jones. He ducked and slipped the punches of Robert Allen, but also ducked and slipped James Toney and a Roy Jones rematch. Going to jail was the best thing that ever happened to him, as he barely missed Iran Barkley, Mike McCallum, Gerald McClellan, and Julian Jackson. All fighters that would've destroyed him.

Where does Bernard Hopkins belong among the Greats?

I for one believe he has done enough in the 160 pd. limit to be rated at the top ten of all time.
