[QUOTE=kidrock09;12433304]"ALIBI AND EXCUSES" perhaps, but they are facts, if not, please feel free to debunk anything I said about your list? ....otherwise your response we simply be "A POOR IDEA"First off, I think Manny is a great fighter, but his marketing value was even greater. He single handedly took a foreign fanbase and made them main stream. Because of that, he got the benefit of some close calls (minus the Bradley debacle) and as a result will probably be a little overrated when all said and done. As for the names you mentioned:
Oscar was 35 and lost 4 of his last 7 fights (including one to Manny)
Shane was 40 and didn't manage to win 1 of his last fights (including one to Manny)
Clottey is a B fighter, not quite a resume enhancer
Hatton was one of the greatest KO's I'd ever seen, but a B+ fighter at best.
Marg went 1-3 once he wasn't allowed to cheat (including a loss to Manny)
Cotto was a good win and very legitimate, close enough in age, although coming off a horrific loss in which part of his heart was taken from a guy who probably cheated.
Again, Manny has been a great fighter, but the list speaks more to the greatness of Bob Arum (cringe when I say that) and his ability to promote and make a superstar with superb timing and fighter selection.

Oh, this is what im really talking about how people perceive things regardless of whatever, ALIBI AND EXCUSES............. WHAT A POOR IDEA.Comment
