I'm surprised so much seem to favor Moreno to the extent. Mares is gonna put a hurting on this guy.

I think Moreno's height/reach and overall boxing ability is gonna allow him to dictate the pace effectively. Mares could win on aggression and work-rate though. Battle of styles, and either guy has a chance. I favor the guy with the better physical attributes and footwork.

put national pride aside for once...panda's a huge mares fan and will be rooting for him if the fight happens but both donaire and cotto are more accomplished at this point

if the fight happens its likely going to be close and controversial considering the calibre of both fighters

Mares is certainly the more proven that Moreno.

But Moreno has beaten good fighters also.

YES!!! I NEED to see fights of this magnitude. GBP puts these types of fights together and I appreciate them for that. TMT Promotions aint gonna disrupt the Golden Boy swing. They have to put the best against the best like GBP is doing. Great fight and I hope it gets made.
