You name one fighter, suddenly they aren't rare?

Frankly, either your reading comprehension or vocabulary is ****.

Hopkins and Ward are two completely different fighters but he definitely needs not to take rounds off against Ward. Stylistically, i just think Hopkins is a bit more trickier and hes way more rough (and dirty) in the clinches. I'm just wondering if the drop in weight will hurt Dawson since hes been at 175 for a while now.

I don't think the weight loss will be a factor for Dawson. He'll make the 168 lbs on the button the day before at the weigh-in and the rehydrate and add nutrition and outweigh Ward by 10 solid lbs on the night of the fight. I think it is a good strategic move by Dawson.

But I think there are some comparisons to be made between Ward and Hopkins, both give that unorthox movement that is difficult to time and land a solid punch on. Dawson is a powerful and well-trained fighter but he has a tendency to pose and not let his hands go. It seems to me Ward will out-maneuver and beat Dawson to the punch more often than not, but this is a very interesting fight.

Its a tough fight for both but Dawson does not have a "Control" game and that will prove to be the difference in the fight

this will be a very good fight - the comparisons between ward and hopkins are warranted - they (ward & hopkins)both make very good infight adjustments and are both supremely conditioned and confident athletes! Dawson usually dominates you with his skill set, or beats you with his youth and skills - pascal really showed me alot, and it made be check out some of his earlier fights - he has mental lapses that ward will eat him aliveon. people have to realise how good ward is - ward is one of the toughest fighters out there- people always say how they are going to beat him, and they are not that impressed, but he makes you quit in there - ward is one of the only fighters out there that can beat you even if your gameplan is working - he can beat you at your game - dawson should have gotten floyd sr.(hasn't looked really good since he left him) chad gets hit more, and he is facing a real DOG - this will be a very tough fight - we have two of the best in the game and in their primes about to go at it!

Agreed! People tend to forget Bad Chad struggled with Hopkins the first half of their fight. I felt like Chad must of heard me through the TV screen because I was yelling from the first round for Chad to throw the lead straight left hand and it wasn't until he began using it the fight began to shift in his favor. I dont think he can afford to get behind in this fight because Ward has enough boxing ability to stay ahead and cruise to a decision

I also believe Dawson is getting a little too much credit for his "boxing ability". In my opinion Chads style is more of a volume puncher with boxer tendencies but not just a pure boxer basically(Paul Williams with a better jab/defense) Of course he had to box more with Hopkins because Hopkins is a slick sneaky fighter and a pure boxer but like said earlier he had to make late adjustments to pull off the win. Adjustments that I don't see Ward being effected by especially on the inside where Ward has good defense and knows how to land effectively.

116-112 Ward! Or 116-114(6rds Ward to 4rds Dawson with 2rds even)

I have a task at hand as the weekend of the Ward Dawson fight, I won a free weekend vacation out at the Hilton in Destin Florida. So the wifey and I will be chillin and as much as she likes boxing, she would be pissed if I was stuck to the TV watching it instead of out on a date with her! So I have a major dilemma!

I'll figure it out though! lol
