This fight should be at 175. The pampered Andre Ward refuses to fight unless he has all the advantages.
Great fighters (SRR, Pacquiao, Armstrong, Duran, JMM, Langford, Greb, etc) are never afraid to move up a weight division for a big fight. Some of them fought in divisions 25 pounds or more above their natural fighting weight.
"Son of Goat" just wants Dawson to be weight-drained, he hasn't fought below 175 in years.
Azazel has fought at 175 in the past, it's no problem for the Son of Goat. He's a naturally big, thickly-built man.

I'm still sure this fight will happen down the road at 175 again, but to be fair it wasn't Ward coming out saying lets fight at 168, it was Dawson. And I'm a Dawson fan too, as well as a Ward fan.
But Ward should have taken a page from Floyd's book and fight the guy at his weight and just move up in weight, you get much more credit if you do that. It should have been at 175, but oh well.
It's funny to see people hate on Andre Ward though.

Dawson lost this fight teh minuet he signed to fight at 168.
Ward is a hard man to beat anyway but giving away teh wieght aswel just sealed his fate. He wont be able to cope with the timing, speed and ring craft of Dre. Dawson will have a frustrating night but will make it through 12 no problem allbeit on the worng end of a points decision
So Floyd weight drained Marquez??? No, he beat him at a weight Marquez arguably beat Pac at, there should be no quarrels with weight in regard to that fight anymore. And if you honestly think Floyd weighing in 2 lbs over 144 was the reason he shut Marquez out, than I'm wasting my breath.
Like he did with Castillo, De La Hoya, and Cotto. And don't come at me with Hatton being at 147, that was Hatton's own fault. He had a chance to fight Floyd at 140 in Late 2005, he and his team said they weren't ready. Hatton won a title at 147 against Collazo and that fight happened when Hatton felt he was ready.

unnless Belloes is that inep he should beat Miranda, who's going downhill fast...Dawson ould always move up again but the key I c for Dawson 1 win is 2 make Ward lead, pure & simple...
Somebody was gonna have to give up their weight advantage to make this fight happen. If it was Ward who went up, people would still complain. Dawson made the call out and is taking the risks, which should be respected. Doesn't mean that Ward should get *****ted on now because he isn't the one at the disadvantage. It is his title on the line.
He has more talent then Ward PHYSICALLY...but Ward has the advantage Mentally, I don't see either dominating personally and I don't see a KO, it is going to the Cards and I expect Ward to get the Decision no matter what
but I think it will be a much better fight then people are expecting
Dawson uses a Shoulder Roll also, I think that will help him big time when Ward tries to get inside...but it all depends on how Dawson looks at 168 first, I still don't know who will win, I don't see anyone getting just flat out "DOMINATED" both fighters are way too skilled for that
