    Exactly.

    And he's not 37 either, he's not long turned 36 and he's the #1 at 122.

I seriously can't believe people are complaining about this fight. I'd take this one over Donaire-Rigeandeaux any day.

Lets be real with ourselves. Nishioka is NOT a threat. He is a 37 year old ring worn veteran who is not particularly fast, not particularly slick, and doesn't hit particularly hard.

The only legitimate threat to Donaire in the division is Rigondeaux.

Nishioka is also in good shape because he keeps training after the turn of the year. Nishioka vacated his WBC regular-title only for fighting Donaire. He turned 36. If Donaire picked up Arce, Nishioka would have lost opportunity to fight Donaire forever. Rigondeaux is still 31 years old, so he has chance to fight Donaire in the future at 126. Nishioka is a accomplished fighter at 122. The bottom line is that this is Nishioka's turn.

Nishioka-Donaire match will make historic change for Japanese boxing. For decades, almost all of Japanese champions had title defense fight only in Japan. This is the first time that strong Japanese champion face P4P fighter outside Japan. Nishioka gave Japanese fighters strong motivation to fight abroad for a big match. Possibly IBF&WBO title will be open for Japanese fighters in the near future.

Donaire VS. Nishi is a great fight. 1,000,000 times better than the Arce fight was. I can't wait for this card. Can't wait.

Where have I been lately? When did it change from Donaire-Arce to Nish? Either way very happy to hear this and all of a sudden this is a very good card. Yeah I still believe Rigo is the best fighter at 122, but it's nothing but conjecture and speculation for now. Hopefully in the not too distant future we get to find it out one way or the other.

We can put it this way, Nishi is a much better fight than what could have been Arce, at least for Donaire. I'm kinda hoping Nishi can pull off the upset. Rigo still needs to prove himself before he gets a shot at Donaire, and I think Rigo can pull off the win if it finally comes down to it.

Lol what the **** are you talking about? He's considered one of the fast moving fighters in his weight class.

Others have stated what he's done. Why do you post if you have no idea who a guy is?
