I know ginger will expect Lopez to slug. Golden boy is probably banking on it. Lopez needs to use his jab with the occasional cross & just use plenty lateral movement.

I hope that by some miracle Lopez wins, I really do cause this is some ol bull$h!t right here. Lopez has the height advantage. He needs to fight tall.

I don't know if Lopez is good enough to stick and move. Sure it's his best chance of surviving 12 rounds, but can he win the fight doing it?

If he can't, his best chance to win is to take advantage of Alvarez's defense and hope he hits him with a perfect shot.

So who DOES want Canelo to win? I'm gonna be rooting for Josesito all the way.

Jab and move is not a winning strategy. He cannot employ that and hope to win.

I think at this point, he has nothing to lose and go balls deep in Canelo and pressure him. Make him uncomfortable. Throw bombs from all different sort of angles. Test that chin. He hasn't had it tested since baby [big bro] Cotto rocked him.

See how he reacts and go from there. He isn't going to get a decision. He can be Campillo to Canelo's Cloud and the result will be the same.

Agree 100%. Fighting Canelo tactfully might give him a better chance of not getting knocked the *** out, but if he wants to win, he needs to let the hands go like he did against Ortiz. And yeah, I'm fully aware this strategy might lead to a quick and utter destruction of Josesito -- but honestly, it's his only shot.

Like Josesito said, he'd probably have to win a minimum of 10 rounds to get a decision. His only chance here is to hurt Canelo...as slim as those chance might be.

gotta smother canelo. dont give him a chance to fire those bombs. stay in his grill all night. lopez can take the heat. he needs to be on canelo all night the only way he wins is if he can break canelo's will. he aint getting no decision.

We will see if Team Lopez can incorporate some of these strategies into their fight-plan.
