And I don't hate David Haye at all in all honesty. I'm not a fan of him, and I don't really like him, but I don't hate him. He's just done literally nothing of note in years to be considered one of the top fighters in the sport.

I mean, look at his last 3 wins, in the last 3 years; Ruiz, Harrison and Chisora. Two weren't in the Top 30 HW's and the other was 0-3 (Should have been 1-2) in his last 3 fights. And isn't very good anyway.
Fair enough, bud. Can't argue with that. Truthfully, I couldn't tell you the difference between a top 30 heavyweight and a top 15 but I get you.

I can barely tell the difference between a top 5 heavyweight and a top 30 one.

Haye's certainly good, but the Wlad fight sinks him in this debate for me. That was such a bad fight for both fighters. No way I'd put him anywhere near the top 10, just my opinion. The end of the P4P list is rather open, there are a lot of fighters I could see getting a spot.

I'd agree that Haye's performance against Wlad does keep him out of the top 10. Wlad's peformance against Haye, plus his weak level of comp, puts him out of the top 5.

I think he gets a bad rap for the Wlad fight. Wlad is just too good. I actually liked Haye's gameplan. The rounds were quite competitive but, as is always the case, he simply didn't throw enough.

I didn't think either of them looked good in that fight. I agree the gameplan was right, but Haye looked bad executing it. If Wlad had looked better I wouldn't hold it against Haye, but he didn't look that good either.

I thought it was a terrible gameplan.

David Haye does not have the capabilities or skills to outbox Wladimir Klitschko. Fighting at his pace is possibly the worst thing he could have done in regards to his chances of winning the fight.

He wasn't good enough to do anything else though. Doing what he did, Haye was a good two or three punches every round from winning a lot of them. If Haye had been more active, I could see him winning that fight.

Haye was never going to walk towards Wlad and bomb him out. That would have been a surefire way to end up sprawled on the canvas.
