Other than that, I can't even recall when his last good win was. Valuev in 2009? I guess that was a decent win.

Haye's a good fighter and one of the best HW's out there. More of a testament to how bad the HW division is as opposed to how good Haye is.

I just can't see how he's a Top 10 P4P fighter. He's done nothing overly impressive in years.
Can't argue with you--though still not sure who to place over him.

        Moreno? Mares? Gamboa? Salido?

Hell, I'd have Pauli Malignaggi above David Haye.

Right now my top ten lb4lb list only has 6 fighters in it too. The rest are basicly untested by meaningful competition.

Not so much a low opinion as not wanting to rank him over other fighters. He has the talent to belong in the top half of the list, sure, but is recent career is a loss, a NC, and a win against Hopkins. If he beats Ward, he'll be skyrocketing up these lists.

Either Moreno or Mares should be in the top 10, depends on which you prefer, and Carl Froch should definitely be in the top 10 if Ward is so high.

                I don't know. It's arguable.

I'd say going to Ukraine as the underdog to beat Senchenko is more impressive than anything Haye has done in a long time.

At least someone with your credibility is strong enough to agree. There is no doubt in my mind that if they both weight the same (pfp), that Ward would put a schooling on him. I mean badly. Ward is far better in every category except for power. But Ward's power is still more effective & so is his speed.

I'd say one win doesn't a fighter make. You must hate David Haye

Of course not. Just going off recent performances.

And I don't hate David Haye at all in all honesty. I'm not a fan of him, and I don't really like him, but I don't hate him. He's just done literally nothing of note in years to be considered one of the top fighters in the sport.

I mean, look at his last 3 wins, in the last 3 years; Ruiz, Harrison and Chisora. Two weren't in the Top 30 HW's and the other was 0-3 (Should have been 1-2) in his last 3 fights. And isn't very good anyway.
