Calling them 'champs' is a little misleading. They are / were 'title holders'.

And I don't think Oliver McCall has ever been down either.

Don't ever suggest Vitali, Valuev, or McCall was the heavyweight champion at any point in time because it simply is not true.

No, because calling him a "champ" infers he was a Champion.

He was not. He was a "Title Holder". He beat a very meidocre old fighter to win a vacent 1/4 of the Heavyweight crown, and defended it once.

He's as much a 'champ' as Bruce Seldon was.

** Dumberest dumbo answer Boozo. Lewis was never undisputed until near the end of his career. Then Lewis secured his place in history by forfeiting his WBA mandatory to Ruiz, forfeiting his IBF mandatory to Byrd for $1 million and a Land Rover from King, and forfeiting his WBC mandatory to Vitali, the first heavyweight champion in history to forfeit ALL his belts rather than face the mandatories!

You're an idiot Roberto. For someone with a bunch of kids hanging off his nuts you do nothing but illustrate how biased and full of it you are.

The bottom line is that wheather you like it or not, Lennox Lewis was a recognized and undisputed Heavyweight champion.

Vitali Klitschko, Valuev, Bruce Seldon, and Oliver McCall were not.

Not facing John Ruiz was a fantastic move on Lewis' part. Why don't you spend a few valuable seconds of your time and head over to boxrec and look at Ruiz's record just before he was made Lewis' mandatory. It was an absolute joke.
