If Bob Arum really thought Manny could beat Floyd, then the fight would have happened even if Floyd didn't want it. As we have witnessed over the years.... Bob Arum gets what Bob Arum wants. Silly dudes who think other wise. Floyd pressed Manny more than once and dude found an excuse to back off no matter how much the deal didn't work for Manny. Fact of the matter is that he didn't try to make it work for him. I'm willing to bet it all that if Pacquiao left Arum today that the fight would be made tomorrow.

I truthfully don't even care to see this fight anymore. It'll be a letdown in the ring and will be such a waste of years hyping up the fight to be given what I think would be at best a decent fight. I'd be ok if they never fought. Let's move on.

Floyd and Manny aren't that far from what they were in 2010. It's not the Fight of the Century it would have been in 2010, but it's still as big as Leonard-Hagler was. Leonard and Hagler weren't in their "prime" either. Both Floyd and Manny are past their prime-still good.

Floyd is coming off beating the #1 ranked SWW at 154 lbs by a wide UD, and Manny is coming off what should have been a win over a Top 10 P4P and unbeaten fighter.

It's still a huge fight, and the winner gets full credit, and will cement himself as the best of their era.

This is most likley a key reason that the fight will happen.Manny is less of a threat than in recent years, Floyd gets to cash in extra from TMT instead of GB, and i think both fighters are wanting to cash in and retire.Like it or not it Still is the biggest fight in the sport
