The way floyd looked against cotto i dont see him going the distance against even this slowed down version of manny hes too wimpy his chin wont hold up and manny has a better arsenal, speed and chin. Floyd isnt JMM styles make fights and floyd doesnt have the style.

Yeah but Cotto was at 145 when he busted Manny's ear and grill up not 154 like the Floyd fight. Pac wouldn't even fight Cotto higher than 148 so no reason to try and compare Pac/Floyd fights with Cotto. Even Clottey a guy that didn't even fight Pac back much made Manny look like he was in a fight. Floyd beat Juan Manuel Marquez fairly easy so how can you say that "Floyd isn't JMM" and "Floyd doesn't have the style" Floyd is better than JMM in everything ESPECIALLY counter punching. If Floyd fights Paqciao now, it will look like it's because Paq is no longer the same dangerous guy he was three years ago. Which means you don't even need anyone to make this figth happen. Not to mention the fact that it can also be tied up with Floyd's impending retirement, which is about less than 2 years from now.

even if the fight does happen, i got a feeling a lot of ppl are gonna be disappointed at the results, u can already tell both manny and floyd are starting to slow down and it's not gonna be the fight it should've been back in 2009. plus if the fight is made, its prolly not gonna be made until sometime next year, floyd will be 36 and manny will be 34 by that time. i really wanted to see young manny vs young floyd, but that's not gonna happen. I'm not saying either are shot, what I'm saying is they're slightly past their primes (although floyd would be fresher just based off of his fighting style) and it's sad cuz this fight still might not happen.

That kind of thinking is in the minority. Their styles is irrelevant. Question will always be why he didn't fight him at the time the world wanted him to. The majority thinking resembles that of the exchanges between Kellerman and Lampley in every Paq fight. Upsets would have happened in the Clottey, Margarito and Mosley. One upset in these three fights would have fcked up the fight. Two fights later, Paq got booed in the JMM3 and lost in the Bradly. The Floyd/Manny fight is now in total shambles.
