Look man im right there with you on that...i just would not advise it to either fighter. It would not end well for either guys. I would not rip Floyd if he never fights Sergio asi would definitely understand why. Same goes for Manny. Both guys belong at 147.Comment

Thats the thing though, i think Mannys Max weight it 147, and 150 cw was really pushing it. We as fans want the most delicious fights that generate the most hype, but they dont always make sense from a boxing standpoint. I think Floyd "could" continue at 154, but i would not recommend it, as 147 is where he is dominant right now, and 154 i think he gets KO'd if he fights Canelo just due to size alone. Guess what im getting at.....sometimes fighters make special circumstances to make fights we want to see, which is great, but at the end of the day, no one is ever really satisfied, because it now becomes tales of excuses for one of the fighters.
SRL did this **** to Lalonde. It was ***** then its ***** now. No catchweight title fights where the champ has to come down.Comment

whos better suited to 154? a guy who is 5 foot 8 and an arm length of 26" or a guy that is 5 foot 6 and has an arm length of 23" ?Comment

If you say well floyd should go up and face sergio then the same should apply to manny.Comment

your comparison makes no sense. If they 5'8 guy is celestin caballero well he isn't best suited for 154 is he? its not about theory, its about the 2 fighters and who they should face if they don't face each other.

Ok to all the morons who keep bashing Mannys choice of opponents....WHO is he supposed to fight other than Floyd (please spare the idiotic responses such as the ghost)? Sergio is NEVER going to happen, as Sergio is a MW who is NEVER dropping to 150 for a cw. So again...WHO!??!???Comment
