yes larry merchant asked him about his strong position that he has to get 60%. that doesnt mean it has been offered because merchant says so.
its not about the size of the challenger, its about the champ being allowed to defend at the max weight. If manny wants another 154lb title, earn it like a man.

if you can't fight at the weight, then stay at 147.

Mr. Big Dunn, if Sergio is not to big for Pac

then Chavez Jr is not to big for May JR.

IF Chavez JR KO's Sergio then maybe May JR should fight Chavez JR

            JR vs JR

Oh and he is just a middleweight

Little Pac a true light welter took on a big Margo and still talks about that shot to the body.

I think Chavez Jr would catch up to a running frantic May Jr and crash his party and Knock him OUT

So if we put Pac vs Sergio at 154, lets put May JR vs Chavez JR at 160

If manny is as good as floyd, they should have the same expectations. if floyd is expected to fight sergio, same should go for manny. I'm tired of the double standard. Manny can make 154, he just would be smaller, just like floyd was smaller.

I put this up already and have said it for years. But no double standards for manny. if you expect floyd to fight chavez tham have the same expectations for manny.

Thats the thing though, i think Mannys Max weight it 147, and 150 cw was really pushing it. We as fans want the most delicious fights that generate the most hype, but they dont always make sense from a boxing standpoint. I think Floyd "could" continue at 154, but i would not recommend it, as 147 is where he is dominant right now, and 154 i think he gets KO'd if he fights Canelo just due to size alone. Guess what im getting at.....sometimes fighters make special circumstances to make fights we want to see, which is great, but at the end of the day, no one is ever really satisfied, because it now becomes tales of excuses for one of the fighters.
