Paulie-Salita should have been made 5 or 6 years ago.......

He's making it sound like him vs Paulie is a huge ppv event

If Guzman is available like it seems then him vs Paulie is more interesting than seeing Cano or Salita get the shot. Plus he'd be moving up a division so slightly less chance of him not making weight.

I know they are both local boys, but would NYC really get excited over Malignaggi vs. Salita?

Did anyone see the interview last night?
Dimitry was praising Paulie to the Gods as a potential Hall of Famer.
In truth, I think he will eventually get the nod for that tribute.

Dimitry/Paulie would be a great NY (Italian / Orthodox ***ish) matchup but probably not too interesting for fans outside of NY.

No way should he get another title shot without earning it after the turd he laid vs. Khan

That was THEE Roberto Valenzuela of sixty two losses, the one they call "Grandpa", that Salita just beat? How does he plan to push Cano, or anybody, aside because he beat Grandpa? I'm not saying he can't have a fight with Paulie, just don't act like beating Valenzuela is an E ticket to the top. There are several guys out there more deserving than Salita, Paulie deserves better. Salita won't draw flies, yet. He needs more buildup, that means live competition, not grandpa.

I know this is random, but did anyone notice Valenzuela trunks last night? Trunks he was wearing had the name Ryan Hernandez on them. WTF? I thought his name was Robert Valenzuela. Lol!!
