he looks so much better than he had been looking.
there's a ton of talent. even as recently as a year or so ago he was looking like he hardly knew how to fight.
6'7" and 84 inches of reach are not taught in the gym.
as much as this will rub people the wrong way, i still don't want to see him rushed. he should stick with the manswell types. not all of them are going to get starched in one round. he needs to be in there with guys who can go rounds with him. they're out there. i still think that if he steps up to the top 10 in his next fight he'll lose badly.
he needs to be in there with a guy who can take him rounds and hit him with punches. manswell was supposed to be that guy. credit to wilder for not allowing him out of the first.Last edited by New England; 08-05-2012, 07:37 AM.Comment

Talent wise, Wilder is head & shoulders above every top Heavyweight prospect out there. He has a great physical base to work with, as well as a great teacher in the "rangy big man" style of boxing in Mark Breland. And anybody that knows what they're watching can see that he's a completely different boxer than he was just a year and a half ago. His progression has been solid.
I can see him KO1'ing a slowed down 38 year old Wlad in a couple of years. That man can't take a punch to save his life. His egg like chin is frankly, a goddamn disgrace.Comment

That was fight #25. I know you dont know how to count, and he already was the WBC champ before that fight....... and big deal he lost. Is that all the brainless excuses you have? fights decade ago is his only flaw?
I expect more but I shouldve known not to expect any smarts from a braindead moron who's father is also his brother.Comment

Well excuuuuuuuuusssse me

It was his 25th fight where he got KTFO by a tomato can with double digit losses. Gotcha.
Wasn't aware that Wlad's imaginary WBC title was up for stake in that fight. Don't recall any titles changing hands. Maybe he vacated the title to fight double digit loss journeyman.and he already was the WBC champ before that fight

Like I said before, if he wants to hang with the K bro's he's gonna have to get some rounds in. If they survive his power early on and take him to the late rounds, how is he gonna deal with it then?
