Yeah. And in something like his last 18 fights he has just 8 wins. He took a laxative and diarrhea'd all over his career/legacy...and then did it again just to make sure he got it all.

He got robbed against Valuev. Many believe he deserved the win in that fight.

I guess cash meant more to him than his legacy. But at this point, his legacy/record is already wrecked...so he may as well keep fighting til he's 80.
I don't really get this "destroy your legacy thing", it doesn't really matter he's still fighting with 50 or is having 10 losses now, it won't obliterate his achievements in his prime; undisputed cruiserweight and heavyweight champion of the world, great fights with other all-time greatest fighters, and being on the top of the world for several years. It's the same with Roy Jones, yeah, he has 8 losses now and is fighting bums, but his prime won't be forgotten even if he had a 100 losses.

Someone should've explained this to Calzaghe.

Point taken. It's just that a lot of people I think tend to vividly remember the bad (and along with the good to be fair) as opposed to just the good had said boxer/baseball player/basketball player/etc. retired at the right time.

But at the end of the day if the guy is comfortable with doing what he's doing...I guess it really doesn't matter what we think
