Tactically with Amir and Manny he's showing he's losing his edge, though parkinsons is in part to blame.

Khan has bought all his hype, it's a prime example of the psychology of all the hype ruining the guys hunger.

Freddie not addressing Khan's defensive weaknesses, and Khan also not doing so or accepting many of his weaknesses period...was always going to be a recipe for disaster.

I maintain that Nacho would be by far the best trainer for Khan.

Watching the 24/7's with him and Marquez, I think that kind of dingey, tactical, tough driven environment is exactly what he needs to toughen him up and make him way more focused in the vital moments of a fight.
I agree with this. Khan needs someone to take all the pressure of him to an extent, which Roach has done as a high-profile coach. But he also needs someone to take the play away from in terms of tactics, as soon as Khan is fighting on instinct he is vulnerable.

As an athlete - in boxing, Khan is an elite athlete.

Bottom Line, Dude was overrated and a hype job!!! Everybody bought into it even Roach, HBO, and Khan himself... I always saw him as a fraud ready to be exposed... It's amazing what Roach has done with Khan, for the past couple of years he didn't look like the guy Prescott brutally KOed in his house in under a minute... Khan, Ortiz, etc. etc. are Golden Boy hype jobs and who better to pull of hype jobs than Oscar who was the highest paid guy in the sport that lost all of his major fights and given the nod in close fights IE Quartey.... Khan was always the the guy that lost to Prescott, Roach was just able to mask it better... There is no cure for a WEAK CHIN ask Zab Judah.... Garcia's dad was telling the truth the whole lead up to the fight but because everybody was drinking the Kool-Aid nobody listened.... Hopefully Khan will now go back to England in exchange for Froch and we'll get to see a guy that has earned it in the ring... Khan was and is this decade's Prince Naseem Hamed...

It's never his fault that he gets ko'd
Nah, you got it twisted. Khan left his old trainers before the Prescott fight. He had a new trainer for that fight and he left that trainer straight after the loss. The trainer told Khan to rush Prescott and look for an early KO, and it was the trainer who suggested Prescott as an opponent because he'd had fighters which had lost to him before. That was a dumb game plan for fighting Prescott, so Khan did the right thing to get rid of that trainer.

Afterwards, Khan complained that he was tired of taking part in joint training camps with other fighters Roach was training. Usually, Roach conducts joint camps with Khan and eight division world champion Manny Pacquiao.

If he really wanted to see Khan work on his defense I see this as a bad choice. On the other hand, if he benefits from Stewart, he'll be more calculated in his offense. I just don't see Stewart as a defensive genius, offensive yes. If he wanted to work on defense there are a lot of better choices. Buddy McGuirt, Eddie Mustafa Muhammad, either Mayweather, ****m Richardson, and I know this will shock you but Kevin Rooney

              sounds like a plan
Steward is all about refining a fighter's defense
if Khan learned to hold and avoid shots, he'd be the man
it might cut down on his punch output, but he has no choice
Roach seems like he's taken him as far as he can at this point
would like to see Khan develop some inside game too
Steward probably won't push that much though

Ha ha. That would be kind of cool, to see Khan trying to fight out of the peek a boo.

Going through all these trainers is not good for a fighters mentality..Khan needs one voice, and that voice needs to be respected by Khan and Khan's(vultures)team...I personally think a trainer like Bro ****m or Ronnie Shields would be great for Khan..They can give him the attention he needs and they don't take no shh!t which is another key thing Khan needs..Someone who will kick him in the azz..

I have to point out,Roach did nothing to try to wake Khan up in the corner after he was KD..He was not yelling at him rubbing his head with cold water smacking him..Nothing to try and revive him..I thought it was the worst corner work I've ever seen..So I do agree with a new trainer, but Stewart is a lot like Roach..He has a lot going on..Khan just needs a trainer..

The only difference that will do is from being knocked out in the 4th he will get knocked out in the 6th. Amir Khan is a great boxer but has a chin of a 5 year old
