You've confused young boy with biased Moron.I had to read your post twice MAN ARE YOU CRAZY!! Emanuel steward has been training world class fighter's for decades see that's the problem with you young boys today you don't think before you talk khan got caught wasn't listening to his trainer if amir would have stayed behind his jab and boxed he would have beat this kid easily any body who knows boxing seen that. In my opinion he dosen't need a new trainer he needs to just box you don't see floyd tryin to trade with big punchers do you? That's why he's so succesfull just box.Comment

Khan you should stop thinking of being a (A CLASS FIGHTER) you are a good fighter but not on a GREATEST CLASS.. STOP DREAMING... you in the class of Andre Berto, Victor Ortiz, Marcus Maidana and so on...Comment

The problem isn't Roach, it's Amir Khan. he thinks he knows it all. Manny is successful because he listens to Freddie's instructions. Behind every great fighter there's a great coach. Emanuel steward is quality! but i don't think that changing coaches will help khan. He needs to humble himself and learn to take direction in order to be great.Comment

Steward Is The Trusted Choice!
Nothing wrong with Roach other than having several fighters to train. Manny Steward has had Tommy Hearns, Oscar Dela Hoya, he can get it done for Khan. BUT Khan needs to get his head on straight, or he's going to end up like Victor Ortiz, with a ton of talent, ****** in the ring, stopped too many times, and never be the same; an under-achieving career. From this point on, Khan will have NO more excuses.Comment

come on this is a joke ...................... Stewart is just after money !
at the end of the day you cant just blame your trainer for your own mistakes !
if khan does not do as hes told and does not follow instruction how the hell can he blame roach ?
khan needs to wake up and realise hes got a weak chin ! always will have a weak chin !............................... he can be knocked out and hurt at any time !
and if he becomes a jab jab move fighter .................... he wont be a hbo regular i can guarantee you that !
its not rocket science ........................ becoming a low risk, low contact fighter
but lets face it who wants to watch a jabbing competition ??? ............................... not me !
i think this fundamentally boils down to the fact that hes not as good as he thinks he is !
hes a legend in his own mind !Comment

Spot on on virtually all accounts on that post dude. The only thing is although I have Freddie in fairly high regard, he has also slipped. I mean he told Khan to go for the KO I heard coming into that round, plus he's just never tightened up Khan's defence enough. Tactically with Amir and Manny he's showing he's losing his edge, though parkinsons is in part to blame.
Khan has bought all his hype, it's a prime example of the psychology of all the hype ruining the guys hunger.
Freddie not addressing Khan's defensive weaknesses, and Khan also not doing so or accepting many of his weaknesses period...was always going to be a recipe for disaster.
I maintain that Nacho would be by far the best trainer for Khan.
Watching the 24/7's with him and Marquez, I think that kind of dingey, tactical, tough driven environment is exactly what he needs to toughen him up and make him way more focused in the vital moments of a fight.Comment
