Damn right. And I have this sneaky feeling that Alexander just might be the next great welterweight.

Alexander? He's decent, he'll be in the mix, but I can't ever see him being much better than that.

No offense, but as someone who's constantly overrated Khan, I wouldn't expect you to.

          Timothy Bradley!

He won't beat Mayweather but his toughness and relentlessness could make it difficult for Mayweather

Why do you believe Khan is overrated??I think Bo has rated Khan right this whole time..As a good young fighter..There was no denying Khan was doing better at 140lb then Alexander..Khan was being overrated by HBO but not by knowledgeable fans..Did I think he should fight May if he(Khan)beat Garcia..Yes,but only after he fought and beat a true WW(which I believe would have happened)..This had more to do with the business side of things, then Khan actually being a real threat to Mayweather...

I understand Bush you hate the business side of this sport..But without it these fighters who are putting their bodies on the line won't get paid properly for it..At the end of the day,all these fighters are trying to get paid..If Khan had beat Garcia and then a legit WW he would have made the most sense for Mayweather..That's not overrating Khan,it's understanding the business of this sport..

Thing is, what happened to Khan already happened to Alexander. The guy should have had three straight losses going into the Maidana fight. The greatness isn't there with him. Hell, he already got his ass whooped by Tim Bradley, so unless Bradley leaves the division Alexander won't be the next great anything at that weight.

Look how many votes Khan has, unbelievable.

Floyd Mayweather beat guys exactly like Khan week in, week out in the amateurs.

He is not a stylistic threat in the slightest and would have virtually no success at all, I'd of thought this would be clear by now especially with how easy Danny Garcia was able to time & counterpunch him with alarming regularity.
Now he is going to have good success against the best counterpuncher in the business who is better than Garcia in every department?

Floyd would have a field day, it would literally be torture.

He's talking about how I've always said Khan would have been the third best fighter at 147, behind Mayweather and Pacquiao, and of course I was saying this before Bradley moved up. I still think there's a chance of that, Khan is really, really talented, but the man just seems to get worse with every fight. I admit that unless something about Khan drastically changes, I was wrong about him.

Guerrero would be the most competitive of that bunch, because of his southpaw stance combined with his boxing skills.

Bradley is too open for counters.

Thing is I precisely said welterweight. Now I too believe Alexander loss to Mattysse & Kotelnik. But like you & plenty other short sighted fans have claimed what happened at a lower weight class doesn't apply higher.

The fact is that even in those questionable victories, Alexander fought well. In 2 of khan's 3 losses, he's been leveled parallel. So far Alexander has actually dominated Maidana, next he'll fight Bailey. (I expect him to win handily). From there it's upward & onward. Far far better than Khan at this point in time.
