I laugh at the people who say Hagler. Hagler is an ATG so I won't say Roy would kill him but Hagler is overmatched Roy is much bigger, stronger, faster and has a higher ring IQ.
Also anybody with a brain knows McClellan gets KO'd he would be a punching bag for Roy.
The only guy at 160, 168 or 175 that I might make even money with Roy is Carlos MonzonLast edited by SCtrojansbaby; 07-29-2012, 05:54 AM.

McClellan defeated Roy in the amateurs but anything can happen in the amateurs so..
That would have been a great fight in the pro's. I say Nigel Benn gives it his all but goes out like a boss.
Julian Jackson and Marvin Hagler could beat Roy IMO. Hagler is..well, Hagler lol and Julian had power that no other Middleweight will ever have again.

I dont see anyone thats a definite winner over Roy, but there's always someone that has a "chance". I think Roy's speed and power mixed with his athletism was second to none. His defense was never polished but his reflexes were ridiculous. I can see him going undefeated at 160-168 vs the ATGs.
LOL @ Calzaghe He fought a dead legged Roy and almost got KO'd
LMMFAO @ Froch!!!! That would be a murder scene!!
RJ vs Hagler woulda been a great fight.
RJ vs Hearns woulda been FOTY
RJ vs Robinson woulda be a black and white classic
RJ vs McClellan woulda been a good one as well
RJ vs Andre Ward woulda been good. Like Roy vs Bernard 2 in their prime.

mcclellan beat him in the amateurs
i'd pick greb, monzon, hagler, and probably even past prime robinson to beat him at MW. roy was largely an unfinished product there. he did his best work at 168 and 175
h2h i think roy jones stands as the best 168 pouner of all time. it's not the thickest of divisions.
