What's Worse: Pacquiao draining Cotto by 2 lbs, Or Ward draining Dawson by 7 lbs?

Holy ****, I didn't even realize Cotto asked for a rehydration clause:

Off topic, but Casa lost like 11 rounds to JSC (who Diaz had koed), if there's a lineal paper champ, that was him.

Of course there's no dispute. Pac asked for his 1st cw in his 7th weight against formidable Cotto, Cotto asked for one in his third against a one eyed bum. And is looking to fight the weakest mw link at 156. Did NDam get promoted from interim yet?
Ohhh, that's what I wasn't saying?? Well thank you for making $h!t up & saying "I said".

LOL, the great Pacman getting pass after pass for fighting shot fighters, or with weight stipulations. Lucky for us Pacman lost his strap & it's universally recognized that he has no business in the ring with Floyd.

But here's what to do, go make up some more $h!t, then claim I said, good luck.

I agree with that, you either move up in weight or don't. Catchweights are dumb

You were ****ting plenty on Pac for not accommodating Cotto at 154 before I ever put my 2 cents in. And just cannot accept that Pac said he's done with 150+ in general, why is this so hard to process? We should linger on this for a second longer, do you understand it implies no Cotto at 154? Do you? Even no Wolak and Rodriguez; in your world he must be ducking them.

And now you claim immunity unless I quote you word for word, whatever. And claim ignorance on the Cotto Marg cw lol. You also couldn't muster up some token condemnation for those 3 pathetic cw requests, after littering the board with Pac cw posts for years, and I'm sure will keep at it.

OK, so no dispute Pac is more of a man? He moved up 6 times without cws, Cotto already had one in his 3rd. Pac's first was against Cotto himself, Cotto's was against a one eyed bum. He also expressed interest in bringing down the wbo interim titlist to 156, for his 4th belt.

              1. PWill asking to fight for Sergio's lineal title at a cw. And that's after dragging SM up to middle in the first place

              2. ODLH requesting to unify his (stolen) mw belt at a cw

              3. Cotto requesting to defend his sww belt and no 1 ring rating against a one eyed bum at a cw. It's gotta be unprecedented, don't you think?

How many posts you think you made about those, compared to Pac Cotto? If not many, why?

Do you have a problem with Pac not want Cotto 2 above 147 (or 48)? It's not a catchweight, and AFAIK he didn't ask for Cotto's paper belt this time.

Williams/Martinez : From what I remember this was in no way shape or form as big of a fight as Pac/Cotto and probably didn't get 1% of the attn positive or negative. If Pdub had succeeded in getting the cw and then stopped Martinez there probably would have been some uproar about it and deservedly so.

Hopkins/DLH : Totally don't remember, but I'll bet there was some *****ing and moaning that took place by the Hopkins fans and rightfully so, but again the result made it a moot point.

As far as Cotto/Margarito 2, the pony that I was riding (if memory serves) was that Marg didn't deserve the payday and there shouldn't have been any fight. Of course as a Cotto fan, I certainly enjoyed seeing Marg get his comeuppance...

As to Pac/Cotto, I don't remember being too concerned by the cw til' afterward and in retrospect formed the opinion that it did have some impact. Hindsight is 20/20.

When Team Cotto was talking about trying to get a 160lb belt at a cw, I posted my opposition to the idea. Thankfully it appears as if the have discarded the notion.

You can look it up if you think it's worth the trouble.

                • Pacquiao did this to Margarito also.

OK, I'll take your word for it. That's what I'm looking for, some consistency. In that case my posts are not directed to you, but these guys that make hundreds (thousands?) of posts on Pac cws, but can't contrive a negative word on these other ones which are worse by any measure.

But I will remind you that PWill was top 5 p4p at least, no 3 on many lists. I wouldn't be surprised if Bushbaby had him above Pac at the time, so not sure why a different standard applies. Pac Cotto was bigger with the casuals, but PWill Sergio 2 was probably the most anticipated fight of the year with the hard cores. And it was for the lineal middle title, that's history, not a wbo belt that was vacant (of course) for Cotto to win against Jennings.

Cotto's cw request to Marg was probably unprecedented in its feebleness, no one has brought up anything similar.

You keep bringing up that Pacquiao came through 6 weight classes and really that is a moot point. What pacquiao did 15 years ago doesn't give him permission to be lame. Not to mention the fact that when he was weighing 106 lbs he was 16. If every boxer turned pro when they were 16 I guarantee you could add at least 3 divisions to their resume. He didn't hit the gym and bulk up because he cleaned out his 106 lb division(lol), he simply went through puberty. That is it, so don't make it seem to be an unfathomable accomplishment because it isn't. And yes Cotto's request was lame as well, but he was against Margarito.....Margarito.... If there was ever a time where I would care about stacking the odds against a favor, it is against Margarito. But if it makes you happy, Cotto sucks as well.
