Mayweather "before i'm 38 my career wil be over"

Found this interview a few minutes ago, Mayweather is pretty candid about when he will stop fighting. I say he has two fights left and he calls it a career. Though the monkey wrench will be this new thing he has going with 50 cent. I wonder if he will keep on fighting to keep revenue coming into the company.

He also said "i'm pretty sure" so I wouldn't read too much into it. Floyd said he was going to retire before and then came back. He's said plenty of things and then went back on them. Considering how much money he can command and how easily he has been beating the best guys out there I don't see any reason for him to stop so soon. I definitely expect him to have more than 2 more fights before his career is over and I won't be at all suprised if he is still boxing in 4 or 5 years time. It's in his blood.

Would like to see him make a run at 50-0, but he's 7 fights away. Probably a stretch.

I thought he made a statement prior to fighting Ortiz that he would fight 5 more times, but I'm not 100% certain

he said all during the Cotto fight that he has 4 or 5 more fights in him so as long as he does that by 38 then its all good

He will fight to long. One thing he loves is money, but he loves boxing too. He can't step away.

I know there are obviously a lot of Floyd haters out there but even a hater should be able to admit that he is very good for the sport of boxing. The longer he hangs around, the better.
