If Ricky Hatton did come back

as there are rumours of a welterweight return & potential talks of him facing opposition who would frankly leave him for dead. What do you think about facing Junior Witter?

Some bad blood there, I like Ricky but he ducked a prime Witter like the plague, riding a four fight win streak.

        Witter is a lose end.

I really don't like how Hatton never fought Witter. I found it quite spiteful. They're all prize-fighters at the end of the day, Witter deserved his shot. And Hatton disliked him enough to deprive him - not good.

Hatton should have faced Witter. They were both recognized as the number 1 and 2 in the division at the time, worldwide not just in the UK. But Hatton ducked Witter big time. If Witter had beat Hatton, which I think he would have in their prime, it would have probably been Witter in the spotlight for years instead of Hatton. But maybe not, because Hatton had a whole bunch of football fans who supported him, they didn't know anything about boxing. So Hatton was more of a draw because of that. Plus he is a pretty good comedian so it helped his marketability.

Hatton beats any version of Witter. If he does come back I hope he does fight Witter and finally put an end to this myth.

Witter would never of beaten Hatton and never will...

Fatton is in good shape at the moment for once, however i cant see him coming back I would imagine he's just got fit for training his fighters.

Would like to see him come back though he's still young enough to have 2-3 fights more.

Witter was very tricky in his prime, its easy to say Ricky would of knocked him out but Witter had a granite chin & was a very tricky switch-hitter.

He gave Bradley one of his toughest fights, smoked Vivian Harris, beat Kotelnik when he was good, Colin Lynes, plastered Lauri etc
I think he was better than credited for. He had the very definition of an awkward style which is why I think Ricky avoided him.

He taxed the British, European & WBC, why wouldn't Ricky fight him? That fight would of been off the scales in the U.K

You can't tell me Hatton made more money & it did more for his career ducking a prime Witter to fight the likes of Oliveira, Maussa, Stewart, Vilches.

                    THERES ONLY ONE JUNIOR WITTER!
