Haven't been too keen on Marquez vs Morales cause' I thought Morales much further past his best than JMM. However, an Erik Morales fresh off a victory over good young champ like Garcia?

To make it better let's say JMM picked up a "W" over another good, young 140lber like Peterson or Matthysse or Rios.

Were both of these guys to come up with a win over one of these badass youngsters and then make their fight, that would be pretty ****ing cool!

Why so much hate for Morales? This man has given us boxing fans enough wars and thrills to last a lifetime. His first fight with Garcia was on the table before the late knock-down. Garcia won it but Morales gave him a boxing lesson on some of those middle rounds....including re-arranging that boys face with that classic "El Terrible" straight right feint/right hooker-cut! This fight could be a good one. Either way, even if it's his last, Erik deserves a big payday.

Not sure how Morales keeps getting title shots.

He got beat by Barrera then he lost to Raheem, Then he was knocked out by Pac, then he was knocked out by Pac again, then he lost to David Diaz is another title shot. Then he retired. When he came back he lost to Maidana and then he got another shot at a vacant title which he picked up vs a bum, then he lost to Garcia.

As you can see his recent form isnt good but he's managed to secure another title fight however he is a legend so more deserving than guys like Judah who others are biggin up, I do think he needs a big win though because he hasnt had one in years.

He has a chance, but last fight he looked old slow and out of shape and faded late, I expect the same result here.
