tid wpild b great bout 4 MX, not Vegas...I go w/Garcia w/tons more confidence while Erik's took a lot of punishment vs G & Cano, even though he won it, has big trouble making '40 & the surgery early this year...will take more than gym work...G maybe even by TKO...

The anticipated rematch will headline a Showtime televised event.

if he would've made 140 and fought with MEN gloves and not the FEMALE pillow puff gloves, the great one would've gotten KTFO....lets just hope he doesn't cheat the scales and allow the CHAMP to wear the MEN gloves so we can get anoth highlight reel KO from the Philly/Rican bull.....lets see if the warrior still has that spartan spirit.....if no funny deals are made...the oldman is getting KTFO...no disrespect intended...but it is what it is!!

I dont know why the guys who have ****ty habits between fights and almost never make weight, have in their minds, that an 8-week camp is good enough.

It's NOT! If you spend most of the camp trying to lose weight, then that's a problem. Rios has a bad habit of this as well.

Anyhow, Morales put up a good fight the first time, but he was in there looking like somebody's grandfather with that terrible body...hope he takes the weight loss seriously this time.
Partner I could not agree with you more. Jesus Christ,
I am one of Erik Morale's biggest fans. I mean a huge fan!
                    HUGE FAN!

I am also a realist. The moment I saw his body for the
first Garcia fight, I knew he was not ready. Even with that
horrible body he gave Garcia a hell of fight.

YET, it was not enough. The judging seemed a bit off
to me, not saying Morales won, but they made it feel
                    more convincing than it was.

After the fight, I was very upset, because as a fan of
Morales I love the guy, you know? You almost feel like
they are family. So I hit him up on twitter, and told him
what he was doing wrong. I told him he needs to get
a conditioning coach with modern science and techniques.
I insisted he needed to build lean muscle for power and
speed. I mean I just want the best for this guy.

What was his response? Stubborn Erik Morales, and I quote,
"boxers do not need muuuuuuscles! muscles don't make
boxers good!" Man, it just upset me that he was unwilling
to acknowledge that his body was the major reason
of him being unable to compete. His skill, his experience,
he is a genius of the sweet science. I ask though, what
good is the Ferrari with no wheels? HE HAS THE HARD
THING TO GET. THE ****ING TALENT!!! HE IS JUST NOT
                    DISCIPLINED ANYMORE!!!

It makes us fans upset, because we really do just
want the best. I will be watching again. I do not miss
an Erik Morales fight for the world.

Good post and good insight. Morales definitely lost the first fight but the scores were way off; especially going into the tenth round. I've always said that the only reason that 11th round knockdown occurred is because morales had to open up more and be more aggressive (due to the poor scoring)... It doesn't surprise me one bit that Morales replied that to you via twitter. Morales has always been very stubborn about his ways, which is also good because stubbornness is a part of confidence and persistence; however, there is a fine line between good stubbornness and foolish stubbornness, and Morales always seems to be dancing right on it!!!
