Morales Destroys Garcia; Then Bring On The Ducking JMM!

Juan Manuel Marquez has ducked Erik Morales their entire careers. Morales and Marquez EACH fought Pacquiao & Barrera multiple times in each's prime. BUT, Morales & Marquez never fought each other due to a grudge Marquez has with Morales, a former gym partner. Morales would fight Marquez in a heartbeat! In fact this past Spring, Bob Arum offered Marquez a fight with Morales in July at Texas Stadium, which would have been a massive success at the gates & PPV, with the enormous Mexican audience in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and their homeland of Mexico; Marquez said "No", claiming he wanted a lefty for a potential 4th Pacquiao fight he was hoping to have in November. Now neither happened. JMM not only didn't get a lefty to fight in July, he never got a fight, he never got a payday. Now he's also not getting Pacquiao in November, as Pacquiao is moving towards his rematch with Bradley to get his title that was stolen from him. So that means MAYBE next year, JMM gets his 4th shot at Pacquiao, a fight he acts like he can't live without. In the meantime, two Mexican Legends can't make a fight happen between them, which would be so good for Boxing, so good for Fans, so good for Mexico, and so good for Morales & JMM's bank account. So unless Marquez gets over his girlie grudge, then maybe Morales needs to dominate Garcia, then lure his countryman b***h into the ring for his title.

Anticipated rematch? Who is this writer, never knew that there was a public out cry for a remtach.

Anyway, Morales didn't look that bad in the fight and if he comes in proper shape he might do better. On the flip side I think Garcia gave him too much respect during the fight and might be mentally stronger this time around

I was at that fight ringside, and i have to admit i thought Morales won a lot of rounds and the fight was up on the air at the end. The knockdown won it for danny. From my seat, Morales was blocking most of the punches.

And as further evidence, i was sitting next to a group of Garcia fans (all greened out with philly stuff on) and as the fight went on they were quiet as kept. So please miss me with the BS that this fight was a domination.

I think the reason Morales was so calm about the wide gap on the scorecards is that per WBC rules, they told him the scores every four rounds, so as good as his defense was, and as inactive as garcia was, he knew going into the 9th round that per the judges he needed a KO to win. Just my opinion from ringside.

                  Aw, this again?

Now, I'm sworn allegiance to Morales, he's one of my all time favorites and he's from Tijuas and all, but I actually hope that Garcia wins, and not just wins but brutally knocks Morales out.

Boxing needs some brand new stars, in with the new and out with the old.

And plus, it's been time for Morales to hang em up for quite a while now. #HangEmUp
