Hey the real question is....how many former 106 pro fighters do you think can beat Barrera, Marquez, Morales, even Diaz at 135, Oscar at 147, Hatton at 140, 145 Cotto, 147 Clottey, 147 Mosley, 150 Margarito and 147 Bradley by the time Pac fought them? NONE! NONE! NONE! That is the mean reason why respectable knowledgeable boxing writers had Pacquiao as Fighter of the Decade and being their p4p#1 for many years. Pac has been cruising up to 10 weight classes on his career. Its not even a debatable if you hink it deeply.

Pac vs Marquez was a close fight and usually when the fight is close the judges will award the fight to the champ who is more aggressive and not waiting for someone to punch first.

That lone fight at 147 showed Hatton is not really belongs there that is why Floyd took advantage of it. Hatton won all his 44 fights at 140 and just 1 at 147. Pac after he fought Oscar at 147 actually moved down to 140 to fight Hatton in his weight division where he was actually undefeated. Hatton proved he was really belongs to 140 by beating his next 2 opponents after the Floyd fight before the Pac fight.

That makes no sense. I only recently checked boxingscenes rankings and to my surprise Pac is STILL number one. But how is that so if he arguably lost to a past prime light weight not even a year ago? Their reasoning is also incredibly warped, they say the Bradley fight should be seen as a win, which I agree with, but they also say the Marquez fight should be seen as a win, which I and most people disagree with.

The fact of the matter is Pacquiao has come off two lackluster performances, has lost his title, and hasn't beat a ranked champion in his weight class in several years. So he can not be number 1 p4p. I think Sergio Martinez has a better argument for number one slot at this point than Pac. But for me the number one spot still belongs to Floyd.

Most of the ringside scribes said that Pacquiao won. Why can't youaccept that there are close fights quite a few of them, and these two fighters always make it close. And he beat Bradley well.

So the site is ignoring the "odd" Bradley result, and found no reason to take his off the #1 one spot. It's simple enough to understand if you think about it before writing.
