Like do you guys not get he have a weak chin and need to fight in the way that can best overcome that weakness? It's unbelivable when you guys rip Wladimir for fighting 'boring'. What do you guys want him to do? Rush David Haye like a bull and get knocked out in 2 rounds? This is not Wlad's style, it was his style in the early 2000's, Sanders put an end to that. I am happy Corrie Sanders for helping Wladimir out and making him realize his style is working behind the jab and the big right hands. Better Sanders teach Young Wlad, then Lennox knocking him out in the early 2000's anyways.

It's not just Wlad's chin, it's his overall balance because he's so big. If you watch the first Peter fight, Wlad got a bit aggressive and was knocked down 2-3 times. But the moment Wlad fought smart, he dominated Peter.

I love this current version of Wladimir, true genuis of a boxer. I rather my current favorite fighter bore everyone and win, then be exciting and get ktfo and be laughed at.

Every ATG got a unique style of boxing. Telling Wladimir to fight more aggressive is like telling Ali to fight like Young George Foreman.

Ali got Pillow Fists, so he adjust his style to compsenate that weakness.
Wlad got a weak chin and some balance issues, so he adjust his style to overcome those weaknesses.

They are both ATGS. Don't hate on Wlad because nobody is good enough to break his jab.
He's boring because the jab is pretty much all he uses. He's got the gifts...he's by far the most talented heavyweight since Lewis, he's just content to play it safe. And that chin excuse doesn't fly with me. Both Tommy Hearns and Terry Norris had supposedly bad chins and both were exciting whether they brawled or boxed.

It's the nuthuggers that just assume that anybody who doesn't think their favorite fighter isn't the greatest thing since sliced bread must automatically "hate" said fighter.

And that doesn't just go for Klit groupies, we see it from obsessed fans of many different fighters.

No, you're quite right. We see it everyday with the Fl0mos and Paqtards. In the past I've had my share of run-ins with the Tyson Kool-Aid drinkers. It's mind numbing :hypnotised9:

          • Depends. Because guys like Maidana and DeLeon can be boring as hell when they're putting a beatdown on the air.

But there's nothing better than a guy with actual skill going for a KOl.

Terry Norris would run a lot of times. He wasn't always exciting. So did Hearns but Hearns was much more exciting than Norris.

Saw the 3rd fight Holyfield/Bowe.......ZZZZZZZZZZZZZ again dudes were tired as fuck again around the 5th round. One good exchange and the punches after the bell was all that was worth watching before the knockdowns in this clinchfest. 2/3 put together were NOTHING compared to the first one.

My memories outside of Tyson in the HW division were clinchfests most of the time in the 90s and other eras.

              • You can greatly appreciate the technique/science behind the sport and still see Mayweather-Baldomir for the disgusting snoozefest that it was.

And the only truly dull Terry Norris fight that I recall was against Paul Vaden, and that's because Vaden made no attempt at winning the fight and only came to survive.

You pitting one fight against an entire boring career. LOL.

What gets people irked about Wlad is he's fighting either some fat out of shape bum who has no business fighting or someone 20 or 30 lbs smaller than him. He should be going in and blowing these guys away instead of being a jab, jab, jab robot.

And if Tyson was the only exciting heavyweight you've seen in the 90's then you weren't much of a boxing fan now were you?

If there are so many examples you should have no problem showing them.

No offense, but I don't think you know hat you're talking about. Here is the second Bowe-Holyfield fight, 12th round, and the Lewis-Klitschko fight 6th round. It clear Bowe-Holyfield are throwing more punches in their final round (a whole half a fight more) and Lewis and Klit are doing much more clinching (a whole half fight less) in their final round. The proof is in the pudding, bro.

Cue the video's up to 27 second for Bowe-Holy and 13 seconds for Lewis-Klit and watch them at the same time with the sound off and than tell me Im wrong.....ANYONE.

Like I said, feel free to post video's and I will counter them easily. Im not trying to be nasty, I just know what Im talking about.

You haven't countered anything. It's your opinion against mine. You told me about Bowe/Holyfield, I watched them and 2 of them weren't all that. Simple.

I bet most of the people on here go watch a highlight movie after hearing about a name without completely watching the fights. I'm not one of those.
