Agreed. I love a boxer/boxer-puncher. Especially the ones with a capable offense who mix it up.

Vitali has been in some great fight, the Lewis one and the Sanders fight were some of the most exciting heavyweight fights of the last 10 years.

Baldomir vs Mayweather was a borefest and many of Wlad's have sent many boxing fans asleep.

No doubt Lewis-Klit was a fun fight to watch, Wlads fights?

Vitali gets a bit of a raw deal because of his boring brother. People tend to group them together, but Vitali is far more attack minded and has been in some entertaining fights, whilst Wlad's fights can cure insomnia.

I've been watching a lot of fights today and think I've figured out my disdain for their styles besides the excessive holding and moving straight back in replace of real defense. They don't work the body. Body work opens up everything which in turn creates excitement. If these guys (and most other heavyweight today) worked the inside and body instead of clinching so much criticism would fall off greatly in my opinion. Watch the most exciting fighters in history, all fought inside and worked the body.

There is a clear difference in the way Vitali and Wlad fight.

I'm confused why Wlad got so many haters.

Like do you guys not get he have a weak chin and need to fight in the way that can best overcome that weakness? It's unbelivable when you guys rip Wladimir for fighting 'boring'. What do you guys want him to do? Rush David Haye like a bull and get knocked out in 2 rounds? This is not Wlad's style, it was his style in the early 2000's, Sanders put an end to that. I am happy Corrie Sanders for helping Wladimir out and making him realize his style is working behind the jab and the big right hands. Better Sanders teach Young Wlad, then Lennox knocking him out in the early 2000's anyways.

It's not just Wlad's chin, it's his overall balance because he's so big. If you watch the first Peter fight, Wlad got a bit aggressive and was knocked down 2-3 times. But the moment Wlad fought smart, he dominated Peter.

I love this current version of Wladimir, true genuis of a boxer. I rather my current favorite fighter bore everyone and win, then be exciting and get ktfo and be laughed at.

Every ATG got a unique style of boxing. Telling Wladimir to fight more aggressive is like telling Ali to fight like Young George Foreman.

Ali got Pillow Fists, so he adjust his style to compsenate that weakness.

They are both ATGS. Don't hate on Wlad because nobody is good enough to break his jab.

I know this, but neither work the body.

You're confusing "hating" with "not rating". You don't have to "hate" a fighter to think that their fans are grossly overrating them. It's the nuthuggers that just assume that anybody who doesn't think their favorite fighter isn't the greatest thing since sliced bread must automatically "hate" said fighter.
