I told him about arellano bur didn't listen! Arellano is a scumbag! He told Vargas he would handle his finances and look what happened. Arellano had Vargas invest in Vargas communications a cell company that went under soon after. Wow it's crazy that a lot of what I told victor is now coming out. I understand... A manager has to invest their time and money into a fighter w/ a huge risk of no ROI... but the fighter should be understand too; a fighter has to pay the manager his fee (in this case 24%), the promoter around 33%, the trainer around 10%, the cutman 1-3%, a sanctioning body 1% (if they're involved as they were in Ortiz' fight), and then charged local, state, and federal tax as if he made $800K.

With so many people to pay, it's not a surprise why so many fighters end up broke while managers like Arellano are on to the next one, glad Vic noticed his ends aren't coming in right sooner than later.

Victor Ortiz is the only one in there punishing his body, not Arellano and his 24% conditional love, Arellano's probably made what he invested in Victor more than 10x over.

Ortiz needs to be a man of his word and pay what he owes. License or not, he owes the man money for services rendered. Ortiz is an enigma, the talent of a superstar but the mental makeup of a loser. He was labeled as the next superstar than quit against Maidana, had an uninspired draw against Peterson, gets one credible win to his name against Berto and lands the biggest fight possible with Floyd? Has all this drama with Floyd by showing mental lapses of an amatuer than still lands decent paydays, most fighters would kill for those opportunities. I would say his manager is doing a pretty good job of keeping Vic's career rolling considering the results he produces in the ring.

under the law, he definitely has a case because by california law, arellano is not a manager
