I'm one of those people who doesn't complain about fighters really boiling down in weight to fight in divisions they don't really belong in, because while they have a size advantage, the trade-off is that they're draining their bodies in going so low in weight.

But Broner didn't even have to endure that trade-off.

He just fought a smaller fighter while still being healthy.

        And all without any contrition.

But hey, we should all get over it, as I keep getting told.

It showed me that Broner is a unprofessional bum who needed 10 extra pds cause he was scared. There should be stipulations in contracts that if said fighter cant make weight they pay there opponents fee.

yeah broner probably would've won anyway but that was very unprofessional act by a very talented fighter. why would you tweet pictures of ice cream bars and mcdonald's saying this is how we get down, so he obviously sabotaged that fight on purpose.

I wish he did call the fight off. Things like that can easily ruin a fighter. It's not like he was gonna win either way but I don't like fights happening on such unfair terms

Just look at the funeka-Guzman incident. Ali got cheated twice and it basically ruined him in a way.

But Escobedo did get paid nicely and needs to just take the money and run

it's obvious he took this fight because of the money,it was doubled,so yeah thats why he took it,he knew broner was going to be bigger and didn't have to struggle to make 130,broner had it easy making weight, broner belongs at 140,when he's at 135 hope he doesn't pull the same thing there,i think his real competition will be at 140 where he will be evenly matched in terms of size, weight,,i think he's just too big to be at 130,135..reminds me of nonito when he fought at 115 and 118 just too big and now he's facing guys his own size and isn't looking that great anymore

Al Haymon and his hype jobs. Andre Berto, Jermain Taylor, P Williams.
HBO = Haymon Boxing Organization. You can see better fights in espn. A good fight is a fight that can go either way. HBO is on Haymon nuts because he has Money May the cash cow and the best boxer since Roy Jones Jr. I'm tired of getting mismatch after mismatch. Fu%* HBO i'm droping my subcription
