I like a lot of the "hated" fighters, but i just don't get how anyone can be a fan of this ******. Everything he does and say is so cringeworthy it's unreal.

Not even 1/100 of the charisma needed to pull his schtick off.


Missing weight by ~10% of your bodyweight is such an embarrassment to the sport i can't do anything but laugh at it.

I'd love Broner to step in the ring with Gamboa, JMM, Matthysse, Khan or Peterson. Any of those guys would whoop up on him.

He will choose to fight the perceived weakest competition first though. I'd be epic if Floyd gave him a fight at 147 and then broke him down and told him to quit trying to be me, you ain't me.

While I agree that Broner needs to tone it down some with his antics. Lets not forget that its a marketing schtick. No different then Mayorga IMHO(Broner is FAR mor talented ofcourse), and majority of us love Mayorga.

This ****** llanta gets sparked at 140. He can hang at 135 but I dont think he cleans up the division. DeMarco vs Broner would be fun to watch, but Broner will struggle against fighters like Abril or Vazquez.

Yea with the difference that Mayorga is very charismatic. It makes a world of difference.

It's like the difference of Louis CK telling a joke vs. your boring neighbor doing it.

Mayorga and Rios have backed up the talk. Broner has not. Broners biggest win was against the smaller Daniel Ponce De Leon, and that fight was widely considered to be an outright robbery. Mayorga twice defeated the late Vernon Forrest and has always given 100% in the ring. Even in defeat, he chooses to go out swinging or on his back rather than give the fans less than their moneys worth. Rios only gets a pass for his lastest B.S. against Abril because up until then, he fought like a warrior in defeating top guys. Broner is a novice an idiot who would get taken to school by JMM.

And why do you consider respectful, gentlemanly, sportsmen like Shane Mosley and Ray Leonard "sugary suck ups"? I suppose that in your world, having class and dignity is a negative and being an abrasive punk is a positive. Good luck with that. Check the unemployment numbers in the hood and think about it.
