Maybe the reason we like Mayorga and Rios is because they don't duck anyone and always come to fight. All that Broner did against Ponce de Leon was run away like a little chicken **** f*gget. Broner still needs to prove himself against top opposition because right now his best win was against Perez. It's not about Broner being a successful black man trash talker. I love James Toney because he backed up the talk everytime and always chased the biggest fights. So far Broner has gotten p*ssy treatment from HBO. Why wasn't he fighting Burgos last night. He was ranked top by the organization and is a way more legitimate contender than Escobedo. If this guy is trying to be Floyd he could have at least fought a real contender at 130 before moving up like Floyd did. This guy is garbage

Damn never hear so many people moaning and *****in about someone this bad. So what he can't weight. He lost money and his title. Escobedo decided the fight should continue. You propel are the reason he's going to become even more popular than he is. He's following Floyd's blueprint to success. The more you're hated the more money you make.. Because your fans will pay to see you and your haters will watch to see you lose. He's the truth. Haters gonna hate.

Broner is headed for a broken jaw. Look at all the photos of him in fights and almost every photo shows him with his mouth wide open. That is breaking a major rule. His arrogance will catch up to him ignoring a cardinal rule in boxing. Ortiz doesn't even do it that much and look what happened.

He was beaten by a 122 pounder. He will have it a lot harder at 140, especially with his mouth wide open in exchanges. Thats a flaw that will catch up to him.

Floyd didn't lose to a guy two weight divisions below him like Broner did. Floyd doesn't keep his mouth wide open in exchanges either, waiting for a broken jaw. Broner will just be one of the many at 140. He will win some, lose some.

Right. I think that's the gist of what the guy is doing (rather he's effective or not is a different story). I want to see him fight better fighters, as I like to see him fight and want to see him "tested" against the best. But I will say it's pretty funny how a large majority of people want to see him get knocked out cold "because of his antics". Although there are people that want to genuinely see him tested, which is fine.

And the big problem i have with him is missing weight by 10% of his bodyweight. That's certainly not a marketing scheme.
That was definitely embarrassing and unprofessional, I agree.

I like Broner, but I don't really like his antics outside the ring at this point.

Considering he hasn't done much in his career yet aswell.

i dont mind his antics. ppl criticize him but if he was humble and quiet ppl wouldnt care. at all. look at ward and garry russell and benavidez.

what i dont like is the disrespect to the sport he showed with the weight issue over the weekend. that was embarrassing to the point even haymon had to apologize. **** like that cant happen. its one thing not to make weight. its an entirely different thing to make light of not making weight.
