What an ass! I'm pissed at the clown for pulling this. I can't believe he would pull this when he was in the main event. I wanted to see him fight tonight really badly but now I'm done with this jack off. Totally unprofessional. He just wasted a bunch of other people's time and money and disrespected his fans. Fuck this ****** prick.

I couldn't agree more. I won't completely disregard him from here on out, but he's only going to get a few more shots in my book- if he doesn't move up in weight, and start fighting the best within a fight or two, and winning in amazing fashion, I'm going to yet again realize how well fighters can be made to look in today's televised, match-up based career building.

When you have an HBO televised headliner, especially in your early career, with all the boxing media and fans paying attention- you DO NOT miss weight like THIS.

It's unprofessional, it's inexcusable, and it's a big strike on Broner in my record book.

Move up now, fight the best quickly, and apologize for this in the ring.

I'm relieved to see that Escobedo and his team didn't take the money and went through with the fight.

This is beyond disrespectful by Broner, let's hope he fights someone good soon and gets knocked the **** out.

There's no way in hell Broner ever makes Lightweight. He has to go straight to 140 where he will get trashed. Too many great fighters at 140. 140 is the most talented division in boxing with at least 10 great fighters. Everything caught up to the Arrogant Racist Prick. GBP should dump him fast.

The other crappy thing is this: This fight was in Cincinnati, Broner's hometown. The fight has been called off, along with the card because of his weight - and on the card where other Cincinnati natives, y'know, his townfolk. Everyone in Cincinnati is going to be pissed off because Broner let them down without fighting, I can't imagine Broner walking into the grocery store without getting heckled. In his hometown.

Well aint this a *****. Im still a huge Broner fan but im really disappointed in him. I was looking forward to watching him fight but he f**ked this entire situation up. I wasnt even complaining about him missing weight the first time cause the fight was hopefully still on. But damn 143? That's not cool bruh.

But all he needs to do is go up to 135 or 140 and put on some great performances and all is forgiven. Im still an Adrien Broner fan, but damn this was some f**ked up mess. I chalk this up to his youth

Trashed? Have you seen Broner's skill set?
He maybe a little on the short side but skill wise he can hang with those guys.

My question about Broner is his resume and chin.
I haven't seen him take a great shot yet. I wonder if he has the chin.
Also he has fought some bums.

Would like to see him move up and fight 135-140 and test himself.
