Agreed 100% Skills mah Ace. I cant defend Broner on this one. He knew what he had to do, and failed to do it. As a budding fan of his, I cannot excuse this here at all. He needs to move up ASAP, and learn all he can from this. And 1st things 1st, he needs to appologize to all fight fans for this horrible display of professionalizim. I am pretty upset with his whole camp at the moment.

Same here chief. I was starting to get warmed up to the guy and was psyched to see him fight tonight. I'm really disappointed in him for this. You're right, he owes his fans and his opponent an apology.

The other crappy thing is this: This fight was in Cincinnati, Broner's hometown. The fight has been called off, along with the card because of his weight - and on the card where other Cincinnati natives, y'know, his townfolk. Everyone in Cincinnati is going to be pissed off because Broner let them down without fighting, I can't imagine Broner walking into the grocery store without getting heckled. In his hometown.

Some think Broner is scared of Escobedo of all fighters, lmao. Now Broner is a bully. Why should a boxer receive a loss just because he didn't make weight? Stop being emotional-cry babies. Some of you are so pissed, lmao. Take your girl/wife out tonight. Boxing won't end. Broner lost his title, money etc... **** else you want him to lose, his life? Get over it.

If he struggled to make weight I wouldn't be put off him, I'd think ''Well shouldn't you fight guys your own size'' but I wouldn't think ''What an arrogant prick''.

The fact that he has be scoffing down junk food then refused the compromise put in front of him shows that he isn't taking the sport seriously. His promoters and trainer need to reign him in as with that attitude he will eventually get ktfo.

I wish there were more great heavyweight champions.
They fight guys 20-30lbs bigger than them.

A prime Holyfield would come in at 212 and fight guys 240.
Prime Tyson would weigh 220 and fight guys 245-250.

How can a guy weighing 130 not fight a guy weighing 135?
                  A guy 147 can't fight a guy 154 or 160?
                  122 can't fight 126?
                  160 can't fight 175 or 168?

Lower weight classes make exciting fights but the different weight classes hurt the sport.

A guy thats 122 should have to fight fighters that can weigh up to 130
126 should have to fight fighters that weigh up to 135
                  130 up to 147
                  135 up to 154
                  140 up to 160
                  147 up to 168
                  154 up to 175
                  160 up to 175
                  168 up to CW
                  175 up to CW
                  CW up to HW

So not only does he come in overweight in the weigh in, but he's even overweight on the negotiated weight!

Compounding one error by making another, the epitome of a douche!

All costs of marketing, planning, and setup by GBP and HBO should be put on Broner and his team. This is just disgusting. He let himself down and worse, he let the entire boxing community down.

I'm sure that's the last fight he'll have on HBO - at least for a long while. He should change his name to Adrien "Twink" Boner.
