Size ain't enough in this sport if you're up against a fighter/boxer who can bang with the best of them. I don't think Macklin "proves" what a 'technical boxing' approach could do to Sergio.

Considering Macklin is one of the least techincal boxers on the planet.

That actually is pretty bad considering hes been getting hit a lot because of that.

He's gotten hit about as much in his last 4 fights as Chavez jr got hit in his fight against Lee.

Considering Macklin is one of the least most techincal boxers on the planet.

He didn't see fit to smother Sergio like he did Strum, he boxed with him and moved backwards making Sergio come forward to him. It worked for a while but only because he has a very high guard. Once he tired a little bit and could defend as quickly as he did in the early parts of the fight, he got crushed.

Macklin is a pretty good boxer in comparison to a lot of MW's imo. I think he is a much better boxer than Chavez is...all he does is come forward and pressure.

LMAO...Chavez is speaking about Martinez keeping his hands low. What the dumb cholo fails to realize is that is not a mistake but a tactic to lure people into punching so he can counter.

Dude is going to fall right into the trap so to speak and come right in on Martinez all night and get caught by flush straights. Chavez thinks that boxing means stand and trade...which suits him fine but that isn't the way it works.
