i never said anything about early in his career. the only fight he came over the contracted limit was marquez.
pac had done it numerous times in his early caeer. ppl dont seem to know this tho.Comment

I almost want to bet that he won't make it, and the fight will still go on when Broner basically says, "The f*** you going to do about it?"Comment

Thanks man, he probably just missed it.
The point I'm trying to make is people draw comparisons between Adrian and Floyd basically because they're **** talking, quick black American fighters.
In reality, I think this further distances the two as very different creatures. When Floyd was on the come-up, back at 130, etc. He never would have come in overweight. He's a consummate professional.
Marquez fight, which is recent, withstanding, he's a very dedicated athlete who usually comes in LIGHTER than he needs to, like in the De la Hoya fight.Comment

oh well i didnt get that. probably because u said "floyd never did that, especilally early in his career".
bad wording.Comment

Right, I hear you - but I specifically was talking about Floyd when he was on the come up like Broner now is. I think it's a revealing stage of the fighter's career.Comment

one advantage shouldn't supersede another...seeking an advantage outside the rules of boxing is cheating - they should be fined an equal percentage or fined and stipulated...stipulations decided by 1 supervisory commission based on the illegal advantage sought and committed...as you can see, there's a lot boxing can do to equalize/moderate the sport...this conversation would find its way into a fantasy thread, if not already.Comment
