  • So many questions with Floyd, would floyd have done this, would he have done that? We dont know, can only speculate as he dont fight!

If FLoyd fought khan we could find out whether FLoyd would have stopped khan, or whether khan would have ko'ed Floyd.

People keep implying khan dont deserve to fight Floyd? Yet people keep making these fantasy threads up, so its obvious people want to see khan vs floyd.

          • khan would have finished the fight in my opinion.

he was landing on garcia. he wouldnt land on floyd. guys stop taking risks when they aren't paying off.

now, that being said, floyd is just too damn good to let khan off the hook if he does gas completely. i dont think he would completely gas (as i think even khan would take his foot off of the pedal when he's only hitting gloves and elbows,) but if he did floyd would start to walk him down.

floyd's not a great finisher. he needs opportunities. he creates those by setting traps and making guys make mistakes. he usually waits a few rounds to take his gambles and open up. by then i think khan would have stopped making most of the mistakes he was making when he was frontrunning in the first four rounds.

mayweather via decision. perhaps khan slows and floyd drowns him late, but that's really not how he fights. when peterson broke khan down he came forward, took huge punishment, and hit the body. floyd rarely punches the body or cuts the ring off. maidana just waited and took punishment and landed the big right hand in the 10th. and prescott is likewise a dynamite puncher who came out like a wildman and caught khan cold.

and he wouldn't have without a corrupt home referee forcing Hatton onto the outside

b/s Khan was 2-0 up about to go 3-0 up when that shot landed, you don't outbox someone by eating everything they throw, Garcia's power combined with Khan's weak chin won the fight for DG

How dare Cortez enforce the rules of a boxing match. He should have allowed to fight to turn into the Kirkland v Monila travesty. Being serious now, much of the fight was on the inside obviously Hatton was like a fish out of water as his idea of infighting is hugging with one arm and hitting with the other something that is not allowed.
                  _____
Also Khan's weak chin didn't lose him the fight his inability to adapt lost him the fight. The majority of fighters would get hurt if that left hook hit them however the majority of competent fighters would not stand and trade when their senses are dulled.

                  • is this realy even up for debate, with Mayweathers accuracy and Khans kinder egg chin he dont need massive knock out power, before he knocked out Hatton i dont think anyone even realy questioned Hattons Chin, he hits harder than you realise its just he has the skills to not have to go for a KO, look what he did to Ortiz ok granted Ortiz was caught of gaurd but Khan has the worst chin of any world champ ever to grace a boxing ring plus Khan is going to be getting totay out boxed every second of every round.

                    • I always said mayweather koes him. This fight was a joke to me. Khan still fights like an amatuer.
