Guerrero should be embarrassed by his comments. First off, he put himself in the same category as Oscar and Pac. Fans, writers, piers or anyone worth a damn in boxing hasn't recognized him for doing anything extraordinary, Robert just gave "himself" a pat on the back. Second, is he really parading around interim belts? I can't remember many other boxers parading a useless interim title around like he had accomplished something. Memo to Guerrero: you won a title at feather, super feather and that's it. All this moving up in weight is useless if you don't make an impact on any particular weight class. When your resume reads that you are the 5th person to beat Casa, 4th person to beat Katsidis and Vincente Escebedo is your signature win than you haven't accomplished much. There should be 4 or 5 competitive fights on your resume between what you have (pedestrian at best) and what you want (Mayweather, Jmm, Pac, Khan, etc). Why should Guerrero be lined up with the top fighters? Shut your trap until you've done something and stay busy for a change.

No he does not deserve a Mayweather, Pac, Jmm fight. He has 2 major titles (IBF 126/130) in as many divisions, not 3. Big name mandatories? Sounds like an oxymoron lol. Just because he's going up 2 weight classes doesn't mean he deserves extra credit and are you implying that Selcuk Aydin is an avoided fighter? Maybe a typical euro fighter with a typical euro resume, but, avoided??? You must be drinking the same kool aid as the Ghost. Plus theres plenty of big fights at 135/140: Maidana, Matthysse, Rios, Alvarado, Judah, Peterson, Garcia, Burns, DeMarco, Vazquez, Molina and every one of those would contend for top fight on Robert's resume. Seem's like Robert isn't willing to put in the work for a huge money fight but would rather talk his way into a "I'm the WBC interim champ and mando to Floyd, I deserve my shot at Mayweather" bull****, backdoor type of dealing that GBP has been doing lately.

no kidding, who else is on the list?

well he was lined up to fight Maidana in August of last year before injuring his shoulder .. but with that said, what does Guerrero bring to the table vs a potential opponent?

"He acts like these big fights should just be handed to him. but he hasn't really done anything to deserve a fight with a marquee name."

^ that's my issue with The Ghost, (emphasis on the bold) for somebody with a solid record of 29-1 he's won some belts (at feather, Super Feather) and 2 interim belts @ LW

but when you stack up Guerrero's career accomplishments to how much he runs his mouth

              it just doesn't add up.
this will be a good way to find out exactly where he is at right now if he wins this fight he is ready for any and all if not got to get back up work hard to climb that ladder again he has been trying to get a big fight for some time he wants to fight the best being quiet didnt work i used to dislike floyd and i would tell my friends that he was own biggest fan they should give him a bottle of lotion and a mirrior when he wins he has enough money then i looked at him a little harder and he is doing the same thing ali did but better people want to see him get a beating and will pay to see it you have to admit he is gifted and is elite but he does pick his fights and tries to stack the deck in his favor i really thought ortiz was going to get him i watched that fight more than once and if ortiz would have kept the pressure on him he was starting put some leather on him he was 14 pounds heavier and was using it to put floyd on the ropes to bad he had to learn the true meanining of protect your self at all times when he got up i noticed he had a smile from ear to ear he knew win lose or draw he was a millionaire just getting the fight was like winning the lotto you all know his story so dont blame the ghost for doing whatever it takes to get the big fights this is a huge risk and should be a good one lets dance

^ oh yeah no doubt, this WW fight will be a good test to see where Guerrero is at

but with all this mouthing off he's putting a lot of additional pressure on himself as a loss to Aydin is a very big setback and no way he'll get a big fight then

but a win gives him the Interim WBC Welterweight title any maybe Floyd decides to fight him

"so don't blame the ghost for doing whatever it takes to get the big fights"

why doesn't he let his performances speak for themselves .. instead of mouthing off and calling out the best @ 140 and 147 (where he's yet to fight at Welter)

Rob just makes a fool out of himself. Do you think Mayweather or Pacquiao take this guy seriously? the last "title" Guerrero won are a couple of Interim Lightweight belts vs Katsidis .. and Rob's talking all tough how the best @ 140 and Welter are ducking him. How can you take that seriously?

A man's gotta do what a man's gotta do, but Guerrero would go a long way with winning fights and being impressive

oppose to just sitting back and running his mouth about how all these guys are alledgedly ducking him

**and how exactly did Amir Khan duck R. Guerrero when Rob has only beaten an old Casamayor @ 140

I understand the talking works to help get big fights, but to a certain extent. Cuz all the talking he does, Guerrero is making himself look like a fool.
