I don't dislike Guerrero based on the trials and tribulations that he and his wife had to suffer through. With that said, why the **** is he always talking about who doesn't want to fight him rather than keeping busy and doing what he's supposed to do.....FIGHT?

Exposure will lead to great things, *****ing won't

Guerrero really does mouth off too much. I've gotten sick of it a long time ago

well he was lined up to fight Maidana in August of last year before injuring his shoulder .. but with that said, what does Guerrero bring to the table vs a potential opponent?

"He acts like these big fights should just be handed to him. but he hasn't really done anything to deserve a fight with a marquee name."

^ that's my issue with The Ghost, (emphasis on the bold) for somebody with a solid record of 29-1 he's won some belts (at feather, Super Feather) and 2 interim belts @ LW

but when you stack up Guerrero's career accomplishments to how much he runs his mouth

      it just doesn't add up.

        Martirosyan
        Haye
        Khan
        Bradley
        Alvarez
        Donaire

        etc.

Lots of trash talk and no backing up. Cases like Donaire, he trash talks and then balks at certain names.

Those are guys are arguably avoiding the best boxers in their division though. Guerrero is BEGGING for the most dangerous fighters.

And I think he has the boxing skills to at least be competitive with a lot of fighters at 147. So I don't see the point in scheduling endless winnable tune-ups to "stay active", only to find out two years from now that he doesn't belong in the division when he steps it up. As a fan, I want to find out now.

As a boxing fan, if Robert gets a big fight, I'll take it. But he's been out for quite a while now and can use a good tune up, as he's not yet a star.

And yeah, those guys I mentioned are or were in the position to get or win career defining fights, but somehow they just don't back it up in the end. They just need to STFU sometimes.

guerrero does'nt deserve it tho. he wants to take a short cut to a huge payday without earning it..he wants the 40 and 47 money makers yet , he only fought as high as 35..and his resume is weak as hell

                don't know anything about Aydin
                assuming Guerrero wins this comfortable
surprised he jumped all the way to WW though
thought he was fighting Maidana before?
always thought he'd get hammered by Marquez eventually
there were other good fights for him at 135-140
hope he goes back down, he'll accomplish nothing at 147

Hearns also fought in 6 divisions but only won titles in 5.

I'm a fan of Guerrero but his focus seems to be on everybody but Aydin. There's a good chance he might get caught slipping.

I meant tune-ups apart from Aydin. If he looks impressive, I want to see him against the best. If he manages to lose, or not look so good, then yea, plenty of options at 140.
