7 seconds is random and hardly any thing. Just do 10 secs if they are going to do it. Im for the 7 secs tho. If NBC needs this to keep giving boxers more opportunities in the sport and bring boxing to a wider audience, then so be it. Im also sure we would get harder/exciting fought fights with boxers getting a few more secs of breathing. Any thing rather than not having boxing programed at all on a NBC channel because of a few seconds.

this Lucekenkoff sounds like he's in on the take as it won't b the boxers getting the additional $$...all this crap about mma & 6 seconds holds no water...this guy is probably dehydrated out there where he is in Missouri & wants 2 get his cut...half the officials who judge or ref in the US aren't even qualified w/ABC & overseas far more...a nothing organization that scams $$$ thru the world bodies for officvials 2b "qualified" 2 officiate...
